This is a great option for travellers looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and spend their days lazing on the beach or exploring the local markets. It’s also perfect for families who are keen to explore the surrounding Kimberley region.

It also has a fully operational tour booking and information office with a large range of day and overnight tours available. Its staff are very knowledgeable about all of the things to see and do in Broome and will help you make the most of your time here.

I have stayed at Tarangau Caravan Park twice and both times I had a fantastic stay. They are clean, have a nice little pool, and a great variety of sites to suit all needs. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

They are a really good value for money, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to my family and friends. They have a great location and I can’t wait to visit again! I also want to recommend them to anyone who wants a really good quality park at a reasonable price.

On the upside, the park has a decent pool, although it was freezing during our visit in May, and the staff are friendly. However, the toilets are old and dirty and need to be upgraded.

The showers aren’t too bad but they don’t really work that well, and there’s no hot water in them. They are a bit overcrowded though so you might struggle to find an empty spot.

If you’re in a campervan or motorhome, it’s worth looking for a park that has power. These are often more expensive than unpowered sites, but they can be a great option for those who want to avoid a noisy public toilet block.
